Getting a handmade sofa through your front door, without the surprises.
1. Delivery Zones
We offer free delivery to most addresses across mainland UK — England, Scotland, and Wales. Some remote areas and offshore locations may carry an additional charge or have more limited delivery options, simply because of what it takes to get a piece this size there safely.

2. Delivery Timescales
Standard delivery 2 to 4 working days from the date of dispatch. Once your order ships, you'll get a dispatch notification with tracking so you're not left guessing.
Express delivery Available on most products, though not to every location. If you need it quickly, email hello@kukuusofa.co.uk and we'll confirm whether express is possible for your postcode and product.
Sunday delivery Available for an additional £55, arranged directly — email hello@kukuusofa.co.uk to book this in.
3. Delivery Costs
- Standard delivery is free on every Kukuu order.
- Express delivery carries a £30 premium on in-stock products, where available. The exact cost can vary slightly by product and location, so we'll confirm the final figure with you before booking.
4. How Delivery Works
- Our delivery partners. We work with reputable third-party couriers who understand how to handle handcrafted furniture properly.
- Room of choice. Standard delivery includes placement in the room of your choice, provided there's reasonable access — up to five flights of stairs, with lift access where needed. This is available across most of England, Wales, and southern Scotland.
- Scheduling. Our courier will contact you directly to arrange a delivery date and time that works for you.
- Someone needs to be home. Please make sure someone's available at the address to accept delivery — if no one's in, a redelivery fee may apply.
- Check it before you sign. Inspect your sofa on arrival and flag any damage to the courier before signing for it. Once it's signed for, it's much harder to resolve.
5. If Something Runs Late
Nobody wants to lose a day sitting at home waiting for a van that doesn't show. Our logistics team keeps a close eye on every delivery in progress, and if something is running behind, we'll let you know 12 to 24 hours ahead so you can plan around it rather than around us.
Most deliveries arrive within the timescales above, but occasionally something outside our control causes a delay. When that happens, we'll keep you informed and give you a realistic update — not silence.
6. Failed Deliveries
A delivery can fail for a few reasons: incorrect address details, nobody available at the agreed time, or the property turning out not to have the access we were told it had.
Where a failed delivery is due to customer error — wrong details, absence at the agreed time, or refusal due to inadequate access — a redelivery charge applies:
- £40 per chair
- £60 per sofa
We'd rather this never comes up, which is why we ask you to double-check access and availability before your delivery is booked.
7. International Shipping
At the moment, we deliver within the UK only.
